Learn your Manners!
Ages: 5 months and up
Basic obedience and handling skills - great for those dogs or older puppies who are just starting out or who need a brush-up on basic skills. Also an ideal class for newly adopted dogs - classes are great for bonding and leadership, as well as learning basic skills you should know as a new adopter.

Specialty Classes
Shy-ning Stars
For those owners who need a little extra help in management and problem solving in order to show off your dogs as the stars you know they are! Ages: 6 months and up Teaching management skills in real-life situations so that your dog has more confidence and ability. It's about teaching you, as the owner, how to be a good leader and problem solve scenarios for your dog.
Examples: Managing specific fears, such as children, men, strangers, cars, bikes, crowds, etc Teaching your dog how to relax and go to their safe spot Walking away from scary situations Learning your dog's threshold

Reactive Rovers
For owners who need some help learning how to control their reactive dogs. This class teaches management skills and how to problem solves for your dog. It teaches you how to gain more control over stressful situations.
Ages: 6 months +
Examples: Bike chasers Dogs protective of the house/yard Dogs who react negatively to other dogs, adults, kids, cats nearby Dogs who are well behaved (or not) at home but then react negatively to the outside world

Welcoming a New Companion
Puppy Prep
1.5 hour seminar
Planning on a new puppy? Then this seminar is a MUST! Learn everything you need to know BEFORE bringing home your new puppy. This seminar will cover what to look for in picking out your new puppy, the importance of socialization, what to expect, crate training, housetraining, proper handling, preventing unwanted behaviors, and much more!

Puppy Premier
Did you just get a new puppy and want to introduce him or her to the world? Then come to puppy premier! This is a 1 hour puppy play and learn session. Let your pups get do some very important socializing while you learn a little bit about the basics. Each week, I will cover various topics, as needed. Some topics will include: housebreaking, crate training, proper socializing, no biting, preventing future behavior problems, etc. It's a great time to ask Q's and plan to take a class after the holidays! Come to one session or come to all of them!

Securing Second Chances
Planning to adopt a dog? Whether this is your first adoption or you've adopted in the past, this seminar is for you. Secure the adoptee's future by making the right choices in temperament, energy level and in proper introductions to your household. Understanding the needs of your new dog will start you off on the right foot. This seminar will cover:
- Matchmaking secrets (teaching you to learn a dog's temperament before making a final decision)
- Introducing your dog to the rest of the family

- Setting rules and boundaries
- Bonding with your new dog

Leash Manners
3 weeks
Teaching you how to teach your dog how to walk well on leash. No more pulling!
*Please bring a flat collar and flat leash. If you have any other collars you usually walk your dog on, please bring so I can show you the proper use.

Reliable Recall
3 weeks
Teaching you how to get a strong recall out of your dog. This includes the snap-recall, obedience recall, and the emergency recall. One of these classes will be off-site in the real world.
- Please bring a flat-leash and a long-line (will be available for sale if needed) as well as a flat collar. No chokes, pinch collars, or head halters please!

Scary Storms

Desensitizing your dog to thunderstorms so that you don't have to go through another thunderstorm season with a nervous dog!

Separation Sorrows

Teaching you how to ease your dog's fear of being alone. Dogs are pack animals and highly social so they depend on the presence of their pack. However, there are ways to teach your dog that it can be just as much fun to have some alone time.

Behavior Problems
Bye-Bye Barking

Teaching your dog that more good things happen when he is calm and quiet and that there is no need to get so worked up. Teaching owners not to react so strongly to barking dogs. It's a natural response to their environment. There are many different kinds of barking. I will diagnose your dog's barking and teach you how to solve it.

Welcoming a new baby

Are you expecting? Then this class is a MUST! Especially if this is your first child and your dog has had little experience with infants. This seminar will teach you everything you need to know to get your dog ready to welcome a new baby into the family. Don't take this topic lightly. This is one of the top reasons why dogs end up in shelters. It's one of the biggest changes a dog can go through within the household and very important to prepare your dog as much as yourself.

Multiple Dog Households

Do you have more than one dog and you are having trouble managing them? Then this is the seminar for you! This will teach you all the skills you need to have a calmer household, without so much competition.

Company's Coming
2 weeks - 1.5 hours per week
Expecting company for the holidays? Don't let your dog eat the turkey, put pawprints on grandmas dress, or spoil the party! Join this 2 week seminar for a hands on experience. The first week will be about teaching you how to manage your dog's behavior. The second week, we will set up a real-life scenario. We'll order food, have company over, and have some fun! Non-aggressive, well socialized but ill-mannered dogs only please!
